How do we create cities that work for people, communities, and future generations?
That question is at the heart of Balanced Cities (Byer i balance), where more than 40 companies and organisations from the real estate sector have joined forces to contribute knowledge, experience, and practical perspectives on the development of our cities.
CEJ is participating in the initiative as a partner and is the only property management company involved. We contribute insights from the day-to-day management of properties. Through our ongoing dialogue with residents, board members, and property owners, we gain first-hand knowledge of the needs and expectations that arise in everyday life, and of how the physical environment influences life within properties and neighbourhoods.
Among other topics, the partnership focuses on how we can create space for more people, strengthen communities and safety, and develop healthier, greener cities. The ambition is not to provide all the answers, but rather to contribute to an open dialogue about the choices and solutions that will shape the cities of the future.
The current campaign was launched on 28 September and will be visible throughout the autumn on television, social media, podcasts, nationwide media outlets, and across the urban landscape.
